In this report, Healthcare Excellence Canada examines Oasis Aging Well's aging in place program as well as similar organizations. The report summarizes Oasis practices into short summaries to catalyze discussion about how similar approaches could be adapted and applied elsewhere. The summaries offer details about how each practice works, evaluation and impact, and key success factors.

Dr's Vince DePaul and Catherine Donnelly share updates and information about NORCs and the impact that programs  like Oasis can have on health and social wellness outcomes in older adults. 

Men's Shed Canada (MSC) has partnered with Oasis!  Men's Shed, with roots in Australia,  support men's health through "developing new skills, discovering new interest and making new friends" (Men's Shed Canada, 2024).  Find out more about this exciting movement.

This virtual event, facilitated by Compassionate Ottawa volunteer Mary Lou Kelley, featured a conversation with Sue Garvey and Vince DePaul. Together they discussed the fast-growing pan-Canadian Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs) movement and spotlighted Ottawa's own Ambleside Oasis Program as an exemplary case.
