Dr. Catherine Donnelly is a health services researcher focused on team-based primary care, with an emphasis on understanding how interprofessional primary care teams can support older adults and individuals with chronic conditions to live in their neighbourhoods and communities.
A central focus of Dr. Donnelly’s research is Oasis—a program designed by older adults to support aging in community (see Dr. Donnelly discuss the idea behind Oasis via 5 à 7 Research Talks).

Dr. Vincent DePaul
B.H.Sc.(PT), Phd (Rehabilitation Science)
Co-Principal Investigator,
Queen's University

Dr. Vincent DePaul’s area of research focuses on rehabilitation therapy—particularly on how older adults, as well as individuals with stroke or other neurological conditions, can recover their walking abilities. He has explored optimal ways for individuals to learn and re-learn gait and balance-related skills, how wearable technology can be used to measure and promote walking activities for rehabilitation, and many more research projects related to motor learning and #rehabilitationscience.
Dr. DePaul brings his expertise forward to Oasis as one of the project’s co-lead investigators (see Dr. DePaul speak to the benefits of NORCs and the Oasis program with Compassionate Ottawa).
